Our weekly/bi-weekly basis senior support groups are the basic care given to the Asian seniors, who need mental health supports in terms of emotional, social and peer in their own neighborhood. They have cultural and linguistic needs to form a support network to take care of themselves and get support from their caregivers. The bilingual and bicultural group facilitators speak their own languages and create tailor-made cultural related topics to match their needs. The support groups provide the discussion of the mental health issues, relaxation games, problem solving skills training, stress management, strength perspectives and positive thinking training, family life, social skills training, and much more.
